Bobik

Bobik is a successor or Robik. It is currently in design phase.

The new robot will have following features:

  1. indoor & clean environment (yes, I also mean our house), capable of passing door-threshold, stairs will not be climbed
  2. single arm, both floor and desk surfaces to be reachable for manipulation
  3. telescopic torso
  4. weight 10-20Kg plus payload
  5. Informational screen (tablet) embedded in chest
  6. RGB-D sensor (Kinect) tiltable to see manipulation area
  7. Computational capability >2x of Jetson TK1
  8. Low positioned center of gravity, in the middle of the base
  9. Omnidirectional base
